The NP is responsible for: autonomously diagnosing, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests; prescribing pharmaceuticals and performing specific procedures within the legislated scope of practice; providing direct patient care focusing on health promotion and maximizing clients' safety and function during their participation in program services; actively participating in regular team meetings and in discharge decisions, liaising with community based and hospital providers, advocating on behalf of clients and their families and participating in inter‑professional patient and family conferences as needed.Candidate ProfileThis position is ideal for an NP with an interest in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders which are complex and multidimensional in nature and often involve comorbid conditions.
