Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Vision Software Engineer to join a biotechnology organization developing advanced computer vision and machine learning solutions.

Engineer will support commercial software deployments, drive continuous product improvements, and play a key role in transitioning new technologies from R&D; into commercial environments.

The Senior Vision Software

Engineer is a direct placement and requires you to work onsite 5 days per week in Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities of the Senior Vision Software Engineer:

- Integrate commercial and biological data into existing tools and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proprietary software solutions.
- Support and improve production code deployments for field systems.
- Drive new product development using computer vision and machine learning technologies.
- Validate and test data, software, and analytical outputs to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Communicate technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Assist with product commercialization and R&D-to-production; transitions.
- Travel occasionally to customer sites for troubleshooting and support.

Requirements of the Senior Vision Software Engineer:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science,



or a related field.
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Solid proficiency with Python and C#.
- Experience with computer vision and machine learning applications.
- Experience working with biological data and biotechnology environments.
- Proficiency with SQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with Azure cloud services, container deployment, and software versioning.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and data governance best practices.

Compensation for the Senior Vision Software Engineer:

- $100,000 - $140,000
- Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if Required by Law.
