Job Title:Systems Eng – Satellite Ground Segment

What you will be doing:

- Work directly with internal and external customers to understand operational needs and translate them into technical requirements

- Develop CONOPS and other systems engineering documentation

- Translate high-level customer and system requirements into lower-level system, subsystem and feature requirements

- Perform requirements decomposition, allocation and traceability

- Support system architecture, design and interface definition

- Perform engineering analyses and trade studies to support system and subsystem design decisions

- Develop engineering plans, requirements specifications, Interface Control Documents and operational concepts

- Work with multidisciplinary development teams to ensure requirements are correctly translated into implemented solutions

- Support subsystem and system-level integration, verification and validation

- Trace requirements through design and ultimately into testing

- Present technical designs, recommendations and reports to internal and external stakeholders





- Participate in design reviews and customer-facing technical discussions

- Support project planning, work estimates and engineering activities throughout the program lifecycle

What you must have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering Physics or a related engineering discipline

- 5+ years of relevant engineering experience

- Strong practical experience working through the systems engineering lifecycle

- Experience with requirements engineering, including requirements decomposition, allocation and traceability

- Experience contributing to the design and delivery of large-scale or complex multidisciplinary systems

- Ability to work from high-level customer requirements through subsystem requirements, design, integration and verification

- Understanding of engineering lifecycles spanning complex engineering programs and software development

- Robust written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work effectively with customers and multidisciplinary technical teams

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary/Rate Range: $95,000-$150,000 equivalent range
