WhatYouWillExperienceInThisRole:

CAMP monitors 35,000+ aircraft engines worldwide, in close partnership with the engine OEMs behind those programs, today mainly Pratt & Whitney Canada and Honeywell, with additional OEM partnerships expected as the business grows. We’re hiring a Technical Product Manager (Engine Health Monitoring) to own the day-to-day technical relationship with those partners, aligning roadmaps, working through engine performance challenges together, and turning those conversations into explicit product direction for our engineering teams.

Responsibilities:





- OwnthetechnicalrelationshipwithourengineOEMpartners,principallyPratt&WhitneyCanadaandHoneywell;,withscopetogrowintoadditionalOEMsactingasCAMP'sday-to-daytechnicalpointofcontact,buildtrustattheworkinglevel,andkeepthepartnershipproductivebetweenformalreviews
- AlignroadmapswithOEMpartners-runregulartechnicalreviews,understandtheirEHMprioritiesandprogramplans,andshapehowCAMP'sroadmapsupportsthem
- WorkengineperformancetechnicalchallengesjointlywithOEMengineeringtoinvestigateissues,evaluateproposeddetectionlogicoralgorithmchanges,anddrivethemtoanagreedsolution
- TranslateOEMcommitments,coordinationmemos,andjointfindingsintoclear,prioritizedrequirementsthedevelopmentteamcanbuildfrom
- Applyenginehealthmonitoringexpertise(gaspath,vibration,oil,fueltrendanalysis)tointerpretenginebehavior,challengeassumptions,andshapeproductconceptsgroundedinrealdata
- Prototypeideashands-onusingAItools(e.g.,Claude,ChatGPT)tobuildlightweightproofs-of-conceptandpressure-testrequirementsbeforecommittingengineeringbandwidth
- Represent the OEM and operator perspective internally; to engineering, analytics, and commercial teams and keep everyone aligned on commitments, scope, and timelines

Youhave:

- ExperiencemanagingtechnicalrelationshipswithengineOEMs,suppliers,ormajorpartnersinaerospace(directexposuretoPratt&WhitneyCanadaorHoneywellisastrongplus;)whilebeingcomfortablesittingacrossfromengineeringleadershipandholdingasubstantiveconversation
- ExperiencewithOEMserviceprograms,coordinationmemos,orjointengineeringagreements




- Workingknowledgeofturbineengineperformanceandenginehealthmonitoring:trendanalysis,gaspath/vibration/oil/fuelparameters,andwhathealthyversusdegradingbehaviorlookslike
- AbilitytotranslateatechnicaldiscussionwithOEMengineersintorequirementsadevelopmentteamcanacton,withoutlosingtheengineeringdetail
- ComfortusingAItools(e.g.,Claude,ChatGPT)toprototypeconceptsanddraftrequirements-youdon'tneedtobeasoftwareengineer,butyoushouldbeabletoputaroughworkingconcepttogetheryourself
- Aerospace,Mechanical,orSystemsEngineeringbackground,orequivalentexperienceinengineperformance,powerplantengineering,orconditionmonitoring
- Strongwrittenandverbalcommunication;equallycrediblepresentingtoanOEMpartnerandtointernalexecutives
- WillingnesstotraveltoOEMandcustomersites(approximately15-25%)

- FamiliaritywithSQLorotherdataexplorationtoolsforinvestigatingtrends,butnotarequirement
