We are expecting a baby in October and are looking for a calm, reliable, and capable woman to provide long-term help with our newborn and light household tasks. We would like her to start now so that we can get to know each other and gradually build a trusting relationship. General responsibilities: • helping with the newborn, initially while I am present and eventually providing independent childcare; • preparing homemade meals and freezer meals together; • keeping the kitchen tidy; • helping with grocery shopping, organizing baby items, and other everyday household tasks. Schedule: • currently, one four-hour morning shift per week; • after the baby is born, the schedule will change depending on our family's needs; • starting around December, two fixed weekday mornings, approximately eight hours per week in total; • some shifts will begin at approximately 6:00 a.m. Exact days and hours will be discussed in person. Requirements: • fluency in Russian; • solid experience caring for infants, either professionally or through personal parenting experience; • capable, organized, and comfortable working collaboratively; • dependable and punctual, especially for early-morning shifts; • non-smoker and non-vaper; • no strong perfume or fragrances before coming to work; • willingness to provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check or obtain one before beginning independent childcare. Infant CPR/first aid certification and verifiable references would be considered assets. Pay: CAD $25-27 per hour, depending on experience. We are looking for someone who can commit for at least 6-12 months, preferably longer. We live in the Aldershot area and are considering candidates from Burlington, Hamilton, Waterdown, and nearby areas-ideally within approximately a 20-minute drive.
