The Community Support

Worker will lead daily program activities focusing on the Scattered Site Housing approach. You will empower clients through individual life skills training and community resource navigation. A commitment to diversity and inclusivity is critical to supporting marginalized individuals effectively. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide ongoing support for clients in securing housing
- Conduct assessments and set personal goals with clients
- Implement training for skills like cooking and budgeting
- Manage and respond to emergency client situations
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and activities Requirements:
- Relevant diploma in human/social services or equivalent
- One year of applicable experience required
- Occupational First Aid Level 1 & Basic CPR certified
- Valid BC Driver’s License required
- Understanding of local social service agencies necessary Be instrumental in creating stability for those facing homelessness in the Okanagan region.
