Tacten is seeking IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technicians for a major Fall Outage at our Fort McMurray, AB site. Play a pivotal role in managing operations and ensuring compliance.
Commencing in October 2026, this position features a 6/1 rotation with 12-hour shifts, supporting fly-in-fly-out travel from major Canadian hubs and offering camp accommodations. This key role involves demonstrating advanced safety techniques and a thorough understanding of industry standards while facilitating collaborative teamwork among technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee advanced operational safety standards
- Exhibit Level 3 Rope Access certification skills
- Assist and mentor fellow technicians when necessary
- Execute responsibilities as outlined in work orders
- Verify safety protocols for all used equipment
Requirements:
- Mandatory IRATA Level 3 Certification
- First Aid certification required
- CSO, BSO, or CSTS-2020 qualifications preferred
- Journeyman ticket preferred
