Let’s Help International (LHI) is looking for motivated volunteers to join our Conference Sponsorship & Partnerships Team and support the organization of the LHI International Conference on Refugee & Newcomer Well-Being 2027.

? Conference: June 26–28, 2027

? Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

? Position: Conference Sponsorship & Partnerships Volunteer

? Flexible volunteer commitment | Edmonton-based volunteers preferred

? What will you do?

As part of the team, you will help LHI build relationships with organizations and potential sponsors by:

- Researching and identifying potential sponsors, businesses, nonprofits, foundations, and community partners
- Contacting organizations through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other professional channels
- Introducing organizations to the conference and available sponsorship opportunities
- Following up with prospective sponsors and maintaining professional communication
- Helping schedule meetings with potential sponsors and partners
- Maintaining outreach and follow-up records
- Building positive, long-term relationships with organizations and community partners
- Working closely with the conference organizing team
- Providing regular updates on outreach activities and opportunities

? Who are we looking for?

We welcome people who are:

- Strong communicators and comfortable contacting organizations
- Organized and reliable with good follow-up skills
- Interested in nonprofit, community, refugee, newcomer, or social-impact work
- Interested in fundraising, business development, sales, partnerships, or community engagement
- Able to work independently while collaborating with a team
- Edmonton-based — on-the-ground volunteers are especially encouraged to apply

Previous experience in fundraising, sponsorship, sales, business development, nonprofit work, or partnership development is an asset, but not required. We are also open to people who want to gain experience and learn.
