Overview

RROX Aggregates Ltd. is looking to hire a Wash Plant Operator. This is a seasonal position with competitive wages. Locally owned and operated, RROX Aggregates Ltd. is an industry leading producer of high-quality aggregates for the Edmonton market. Aggregate products are manufactured and transported via rail from aggregate reserves in north-central Alberta to the Edmonton market.

Responsibilities

- Maintenance of the equipment being operated
- Controlling conveyors, panel boards, pumps, gauges, and dials to ensure maximum efficiency and consistency of materials being generated
- Maintain a clean and efficient washing operation and work environment

Qualifications

- Experienced in a variety of equipment operations for crushing, and mining
- Ability to work independently
- Must be willing to work in adverse weather, overtime, out of town, and some weekends throughout the season
- Create and foster a positive work culture, and set clear expectations of crews for safety and production
- Must be able to communicate well with co-workers
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Willing to learn and take direction

Successful candidates must have a driving record free of major infractions, and must pass a medical/fitness exam, as conditions of employment.

Pay Scale $26 - $35 per hour
