Reporting to the Process Plant Supervisor, you will be part of the X Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

Operate all processes and related equipment in adherence to safe operating procedures;

Monitor and analyze process data and take actions to optimize plant performance;

Perform Lockout/Tag out of process equipment to a Zero Energy state;

Complete operational inspections and housekeeping tasks in designated sections of the plant;

Monitor reagents dosage and inventory;

Routine maintenance and cleaning of mill equipment; (Troubleshooting operational upsets and minor technical issues);

Ensure that all safety issues are reported to the Supervisor and promptly remedied;

Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure effective decision making;

Promote positive health,



safety and environment culture and the Internal Responsibility System.

Qualifications

Minimum High School Diploma or GED;

Minimum three years’ experience operating in a mineral process treatment plant, preferably in a gold plant;

Experience in crushing, conveying, grinding, leaching and gold recovery is a strong asset;

Demonstrated commitment to protected working practices;

Display good problem-solving skills with a mechanical aptitude to handle minor projects.

Your Work Schedule:

Schedule: 7/7 or 14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine Site;

Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
