Senior C# / React Developer Position Overview :

Lambert Nemec Group is partnering with a respected public sector organization in Winnipeg in their search for a Senior C# / React Developer. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned software engineering professional to drive core platform modernization, connecting modern web applications and web services directly to enterprise backend systems.

This role is ideal for an autonomous, pragmatic technical leader who thrives in a close-knit, collaborative environment. Operating as a senior individual contributor within a 7-person team, the successful candidate will own technical delivery, mentor junior developers, and leverage modern AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude) to accelerate prototyping, testing, and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain responsive, accessible web applications using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Architect, build, consume, and troubleshoot high-performance REST APIs and web services to bridge up-to-date UIs with core enterprise backends.

· Apply modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude) to streamline development workflows, accelerate prototyping and unit testing, and enforce code quality standards.

· Mentor junior developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and collaborative problem-solving.

· Partner with internal stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements, prepare technical solutions, and provide ongoing production support.

· Perform root-cause analysis on technical support issues and deliver maintainable, high-quality bug fixes.

· Maintain transparent technical documentation, code repositories, and release artifacts in accordance with established software engineering practices.

Requirements:





· 7+ years of progressive professional software development experience building enterprise web applications.

· Proven, hands-on development expertise with C#, .NET, REST APIs, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

· Extensive experience designing, building, consuming, and troubleshooting web services and API integration patterns.

· Demonstrated experience incorporating AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot) into daily coding, testing, and prototyping workflows.

· Strong track record of mentoring junior developers and leading technical design discussions.

· A post-secondary degree in computer science, a diploma in computer programming, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

· Proven work ethic and agility in private-sector or commercial software development environments. Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and located in or willing to relocate to Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Rewards:
