Position: Senior Product Manager

Duration: 6 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy, planning, and execution for enterprise-level digital products within a large and complex public sector environment.

The successful consultant will be responsible for defining product vision, gathering and prioritizing business and customer requirements, driving product lifecycle management activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver creative, customer-focused solutions. The role requires strong stakeholder management, product strategy expertise, and experience delivering successful digital products from concept through launch and continuous improvement.

Scope

Gather, analyze, and prioritize customer, business, and stakeholder requirements.

Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.

Ensure products align with organizational objectives and business goals.

Identify product gaps and opportunities for innovation and growth.

Develop business cases, product positioning, and pricing strategies.

Assignment Deliverables

Product vision, strategy, and roadmap documentation.

Market research and competitive analysis reports.

Business requirements,



Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), and Market Requirements Documents (MRDs).

Product backlog, user stories, and prioritization frameworks.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

Extensive experience managing products through the full product lifecycle.

Experience developing and delivering PRDs and MRDs with prioritized features and supporting business justification.

Demonstrated experience defining product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.

Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management experience.

Experience working with cross-functional teams including business, technology, architecture, and operations.

Experience conducting market analysis, customer research, and competitive assessments.

Nice to Have:

Experience managing beta or pilot programs for emerging products.

Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and product delivery methodologies.
