Job Description:

Our client is looking for a detail-focused Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team in Calgary, Alberta. This role supports day-to-day invoice and expense processing while maintaining accurate and timely accounts payable records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with purchase orders, high-volume data entry, and resolving discrepancies through clear communication.

Responsibilities:

- Process and verify supplier invoices against purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documentation.
- Perform three-way matching and investigate discrepancies or missing information.
- Process employee expense reimbursements and support increased month-end activity.
- Accurately code and enter invoices while maintaining organized records for reconciliation and audit purposes.
- Review purchase order transactions and ensure invoices follow established approval procedures.
- Monitor and manage shared accounts payable inquiries and requests.
- Process domestic and international invoices as required.
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve payment issues, discrepancies,



and documentation requirements.

Requirements:

- Previous accounts payable experience, including invoice processing and high-volume data entry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of three-way matching, invoice coding, expense reports, and account reconciliations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in a deadline-driven setting.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach.
- Proficiency with accounts payable systems and Microsoft Office.
- ERP experience is an asset.
- Ability to manage changing workloads and increased volumes during month-end periods.
