Duties

- Perform personalized massage therapy sessions utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, pre/post natal or therapeutic massage to meet individual client needs
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their health history, preferences, and specific concerns before treatment
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment plans and progress notes
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommended follow-up treatments to support ongoing wellness goals
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment workplace in compliance with health regulations and hygiene standards
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service




- Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development

Requirements

- Valid registration or licensing as a Massage Therapist from a recognized regulatory body
- Valid insurance as per CMTO requirements
- Must own and be able to travel with a massage table, pillows, sheets, speaker, clock, and gel/lotion at minimum.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health assessments
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure client satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain treatments and listen attentively to client needs
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Previous experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
- Must adhere to all safety protocols, hygiene standards, and confidentiality requirements

Pay: $84.00-$91.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 20.0 per week
