We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Project Manager to join the Mawg team. In this role, you will oversee creative and strategic projects, ensuring they meet client expectations, are delivered on time, and align with Mawg's goals. You'll collaborate with designers, developers, and internal and external teams to deliver high-quality work that exceeds client expectations.

As a Project Manager, you'll manage the full project lifecycle, balancing resources, timelines, and budgets while maintaining creative integrity. Your ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively will be key to Mawg’s continued success.

Scope

In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee a broad range of creative projects, including branding, digital experiences, marketing campaigns, retail executions and more. Your responsibilities will include:

- Project Planning & Execution: Leading projects from the discovery phase to execution and final delivery, ensuring they are aligned with client expectations and creative standards.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Coordination: Collaborating with designers, developers, copywriters, and other team members to ensure that resources are efficiently allocated and tasks are completed on time. (internal/external, local/overseas)
- Budget & Timeline Management: Managing project budgets and timelines, tracking progress, adjusting resources as necessary, and ensuring that projects stay on track and within scope.
- Quality Control: Overseeing the design, development and production processes to ensure that deliverables meet Mawg’s high-quality standards. Applies to both local and overseas.
- Risk & Change Management: Identifying potential risks and obstacles early on, managing scope changes, and adapting to evolving client needs while minimizing disruption to project flow.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Project Management:Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. You will create project plans, define milestones, and ensure tasks are completed as scheduled.
- Client Engagement:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Understand client goals and objectives, maintain regular communication, and ensure alignment between the client’s vision and Mawg’s creative direction.
- Team Collaboration:Work closely with internal and external teams, including designers, developers, and strategists, to ensure efficient workflow, explicit communication, and alignment on project goals.
- Budget & Timeline Management:Establish project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that all projects are completed within financial constraints. Manage timelines to ensure milestones are met and deliverables are achieved on time.
- Creative Direction Alignment:Ensure that the deliverables adhere to the agreed-upon creative vision. Act as the intermediary between clients and the creative team, ensuring expectations are clearly communicated and met.
- Quality Control & Feedback:Oversee the review process, ensuring that all deliverables are of the highest quality and that client feedback is implemented effectively. Provide constructive feedback to the creative team to refine work.
- Risk & Issue Management:Proactively identify any potential risks to project timelines or quality, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks. Ensure that project scope changes are handled efficiently and do not disrupt timelines or budgets.

Qualifications / Requirements:

- Proven experience in project management within a creative or design environment, preferably in an agency setting.
- Strong understanding of the creative process and how to manage design and development projects.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. Monday.com and Google Suite) and familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Excellent communication and client management skills, with the ability to manage expectations and deliver results.




- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- A passion for creative work, with an eye for design and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Proficiency to read, understand and interpret drawings to check for mistakes and be able to review with any stakeholder at any level efficiently and accurately,

Working Conditions

- Full-time, in-person role based at our Toronto office
- Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines
- Fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring strong organizational skills
- Primarily office-based with occasional physical activity (event prep, materials handling)
- Occasional travel for client meetings, site visits, or events
