Electricians w/ Panel Building Experience

Location: Peace River, Alberta

Job Type: This a Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed.

Main-Way Electrical & Instrumentation Ltd. is currently seeking Electricians with Panel Building Experience to join our company, that values quality workmanship, safety and community.

Please note: This position requires at least 4 years previous experience in the electrical field. Applications from candidates without minimum 4* years electrical experience will NOT *be considered.

Full Job Description:

- Assembly and wiring of Electrical Control Panels, including PLC's, Network, Server, Contactor, RTU, VFD cabinets, JB's Etc...
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all electrical systems
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and code requirements
- Collaborate with team members and project managers

Key Skills Needed:

- Component Knowledge: Working with PLC's, relays, breakers, terminal blocks and power supplies
- Experience using hand tools, such as: Wire Strippers, Crimpers, Drills and Panel Pouches
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics, assembly and electrical drawings
- At least 4 years experience is required for this position

Qualifications:

- Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license




- Ability to travel to various job sites as required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with water treatment plants, lift stations, or boosters, is considered an asset.
