Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year, based on experience

Staff Plus has been engaged to identify an experienced HRIS Analyst for a permanent opportunity with an established organization in the Halton Region.

This role is designed for someone who understands how HR technology, reliable data and effective reporting can improve business decisions and the employee experience. The successful candidate will take meaningful ownership of the organization’s Dayforce environment while contributing to several upcoming HR technology initiatives.

The Opportunity:

You will work at the intersection of Human Resources, payroll, technology and business operations. Your mandate will include maintaining a dependable HRIS environment, improving how workforce information is reported and supporting the continued expansion of Dayforce functionality.

This is not an HR data-entry position. We are seeking someone who can investigate system issues, understand business requirements, coordinate technical projects and convert workforce data into useful insights.

What You Will Accomplish:

- Take ownership of the ongoing administration and reliability of Dayforce
- Review system processes and recommend improvements to workflows, permissions and data practices
- Translate HR and business requirements into practical system solutions
- Coordinate upgrades, enhancements and new functionality with internal stakeholders and external specialists
- Prepare test scenarios, organize user testing and help guide new functionality through implementation
- Create clear and meaningful reports for HR, operations and organizational leadership

- Develop dashboards that make workforce trends easier to understand and act upon
- Improve the accuracy, consistency and accessibility of employee information
- Identify manual HR activities that can be simplified or automated
- Investigate user issues and coordinate timely solutions
- Create documentation and training resources that improve system confidence and adoption
- Support the responsible handling, security and governance of sensitive employee data

The Profile We Are Seeking:

You are an analytical and service-oriented HR systems professional who can move comfortably between technical details and business conversations. You can explain system issues to non-technical stakeholders, manage competing priorities and work collaboratively with HR, payroll, IT and external service providers.

You should bring:

- At least five years of experience working with HR information systems
- Meaningful hands-on exposure to Dayforce administration, configuration or implementation
- Experience participating in HR technology upgrades or implementation projects
- Practical knowledge of system testing and user acceptance testing
- Experience producing HR reports, dashboards or workforce analytics
- Strong Excel capabilities, ideally including pivot tables and Power Query
- Familiarity with business-intelligence or data-visualization tools

- An understanding of core HR processes such as payroll, benefits, recruitment, performance and workforce planning
- Strong attention to data quality, privacy and system security
- Experience coordinating with software vendors or external consultants
- Clear communication, documentation and stakeholder-management skills

Additional Assets:

- Experience implementing or expanding Dayforce functionality
- Power BI or comparable dashboard-development experience
- Project coordination or change-management experience
- CHRP designation
- Experience supporting a complex hourly and salaried workforce

Why Consider This Role?

- Opportunity to take genuine ownership of a Dayforce environment
- Exposure to upcoming HR technology and system-enhancement projects
- Ability to influence reporting, automation and workforce decision-making
- Cross-functional partnership with HR, payroll, IT and leadership
- Permanent career opportunity with compensation between $80,000 and $100,000

If you are an HR technology professional who enjoys improving systems, solving complex problems and turning workforce data into meaningful business insights, we would welcome the opportunity to learn more about you.

Please apply with a current resume highlighting your hands-on Dayforce, HRIS implementation and reporting experience. Applications will be reviewed thoughtfully and with discretion, and qualified candidates will be contacted directly by Staff Plus regarding the next steps.

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
