Responsibilities

- Prepare a variety of baked goods including pastries, cakes, tarts, and other confections with precision and creativity
- Decorate cakes and desserts using piping techniques, fondant, icing, and other decorative elements to meet custom orders and presentation standards
- Follow established recipes and food safety protocols to ensure high-quality products are consistently produced
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling desserts efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and packaging practices
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of orders while upholding the highest standards of quality




- Support the overall food industry operations by adhering to health regulations and safety guidelines at all times

Qualifications

- Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry preparation within a restaurant or bakery setting
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling procedures
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen environment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration
- Familiarity with packaging techniques for retail or catering purposes is a plus
- Kitchen experience in the food industry that demonstrates versatility across various culinary tasks
