Salary: $52,000 annually + accrued paid vacation and sick leave. Health and dental perks available after three months of employment.

The Arts & Aging Network is looking for a Newcomer Outreach Coordinator to lead outreach and engagement with newcomer communities and support their meaningful participation across our programs.

This is a hands-on role combining community outreach, relationship building, project coordination, administration, and creative programming. The coordinator will work directly with community partners and newcomers while helping plan, organize, promote, and deliver programs and initiatives across the organization.

What You'll Do

- Build relationships with newcomer communities, settlement organizations, cultural groups, and other community partners.
- Develop outreach strategies and recruit participants, with a particular focus on engaging newcomer older adults.
- Coordinate and oversee arts-based, intergenerational, and community programs, including schedules, participants, facilitators, volunteers, communications, and logistics.
- Help plan and manage projects from idea to delivery, keeping priorities, timelines, and activities organized.
- Facilitate programs and represent the Arts & Aging Network at community meetings, presentations, and events.
- Track participation and feedback and maintain information needed for program evaluation and reporting.
- Work collaboratively across the A&A; team and provide hands-on support to programs and events as needed.

What We're Looking For

- At least two years of relevant experience in community outreach, program or project coordination,



settlement services, recreation, community development, arts and culture, or a related area.
- Strong organizational, project coordination, interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills.
- Experience working with newcomer or culturally diverse communities is strongly preferred.
- Experience in project management, administration, outreach, marketing, promotion, or participant/volunteer recruitment is an asset.
- Experience with program or government grant reporting is a strong asset.
- Lived experience of immigration or settlement in Canada and additional language skills are considered strong assets.
- Experience with older adults, children and youth, people living with dementia, or arts-based programming is an asset.
- Compassionate, curious, adaptable, creative, and comfortable working with people across cultures and generations.
- Able to take initiative, work independently, and contribute to a collaborative, hands-on team.

Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle are required. A clear Code of Conduct and Vulnerable Sector Check will also be required.
