Qualifications

- Minimum Experience required: Entry-level structural steel, miscellaneous metals detailer.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Excel, Word, Entry level Tekla Structures, AutoCAD
- Review construction documents, provide quantity takeoff (BOM)

SUMMARY: The entry-level detailer is responsible for the following.

General Responsibilities:

- Produce detailed shop drawings and erection drawings.
- Produce Shop Drawings that specify the exact details required for fabrication and welding for each individual assembly of a job as well as the breakdown of each assembly into its component parts.
- Drawings must be clear in their display of dimensions and complete in relation to the job.
- Complete shop drawings show material specifications, member sizes, all required dimensions, welding, bolting, surface preparation, and coating requirements as well as any other information required to describe each completed part.




- Issue RFI’s and coordinate with consultants, clients, department heads, and fabricators to meet the project requirements.
- Create and maintain shop drawings log of respective projects.
- Work directly with the operations director to ensure client satisfaction.
- Participate in meetings required throughout the various phases of the projects.

- Ability to review construction documents, take-offs and understand the scope of work.

- Prefer a background in structural steel, miscellaneous and architectural metals fabrication industry.

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
