We are currently seeking energetic and dynamic individuals with a passion for working with young children to join our team as a full-time Occupational Therapist. The hours of work are 8 AM – 4 PM (Monday to Friday).

- Have demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, colleagues, parents and other stakeholders.
- Be adaptable. Children are busy and active – so you are too. Adaptability is important because every day will be different and you will have to navigate your way through rapidly changing environments with enthusiasm, problem-solving skills, and humour.
- Be flexible, curious, creative, and able to multi-task in our ever-evolving world in pediatrics.
- Enjoy working effectively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver child-focused services.

Responsibilities Include:

- Conduct assessment and treatment of a preschool to kindergarten age group.
- Managing caseloads with a diverse and complex pediatric population and their families.
- Collaborate with other professionals to support positive outcomes for children.
- Gather and interpret data.

Qualifications:

- Graduate of an Occupational Therapy degree program from a recognised university.
- Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
- Experience working as an Occupational Therapist with children that display challenging behaviour or have disabilities.
- Successful practicum experience with good references is an asset.
- Demonstrates strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.




- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificates.
- Must be willing to travel within Calgary areas.

Personal suitability NOTE: This position requires lifting and carrying demands that require the ability to bend at the waist, stoop, and twist frequently, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, the ability to carry and pull up to 50 lbs, and the ability to stand, walk, and sit frequently.
