Unity Harbour Fitness (joinunity.ca), a brand-current 40,000 sq. ft. fitness facility in the heart of the Sugar Wharf community in downtown Toronto, is recruiting extraordinary Maintenance Staff to fill a current vacancy. This position will start immediately.

Shifts to be filled:

- Monday-Friday 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM

The Maintenance Staff is an essential part of the organization who is accountable for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of fitness facility and equipment by completing multiple tasks for the daily operation and long-term health of all physical assets of the facility. Participates in providing exceptional member experiences and establishes rapport with members, guests, and staff.

Roles

- Customer Service: Ensure a member-focused environment by providing service excellence to all members, guests, and staff.
- Upkeep & Maintenance:



Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of facilities and equipment included but not limited to replenishment of supplies in the female change room.
- Safety & Security: Ensure safety and security to all members, guests, and staff by reporting and addressing safety hazards. Complies to emergency procedures and best practices.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Are enthusiastic about cleaning and attention to details
- Work well in groups and without direct supervision
- Good communication skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Previous housekeeping, gym/hotel cleaning, room attendant, or general cleaning experience is an asset however, not required.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00 per hour
