Rate: Up to $76.50/hour or $612/day
Hours: 8 hours/day
Clearance: Enhanced Reliability – Required

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler to support the development, organization, and management of enterprise data structures within a Microsoft Azure data setting.

The successful candidate will work closely with data architecture, data engineering, business, and technical teams to design data models, define relationships and standards, and help ensure data is structured, reliable, and accessible for business and reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models based on business and technical requirements.
- Define data structures, relationships, metadata, and data standards across enterprise platforms.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and data engineers to understand data requirements.
- Support data integration and architecture initiatives across Microsoft and Azure data environments.
- Perform data profiling and data quality assessments to identify inconsistencies and improve data reliability.
- Assist with data lineage and documentation to support data governance and traceability.
- Contribute to enterprise data governance standards, processes, and best practices.
- Help ensure data models are scalable, consistent,



and aligned with organizational requirements.
- Maintain clear documentation of data structures, relationships, and modeling decisions.

Required Qualifications

- 3–5 years of professional experience in Data Modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong experience with SQL Server and/or Azure SQL.
- Experience with Power BI, including data modeling.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory and data integration processes.
- Experience using enterprise data modeling tools such as:
- Visio
- ER/Studio
- ERwin
- Or comparable enterprise modeling tools
- Understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
- Experience with data quality, data governance, metadata, and/or data lineage.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Must hold an active Enhanced Reliability clearance.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who understands both the business and technical sides of data. You should be comfortable translating business requirements into well-structured data models and working alongside data architects, engineers, analysts, and stakeholders.

Experience within Microsoft's Azure data ecosystem, particularly Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL, Power BI, and Azure Data Factory, is highly valued.

Enhanced Reliability clearance is mandatory for this position.

Pay: Up to $76.50 per hour
