Job Summary

Great Roads Brewing is looking for someone that is multi-faceted to join our team.
Extra hours available by being part of multiple areas of the company.
The main areas are being a line cook in the kitchen, bartender/server in the taproom, brewing duties (brewing, packaging, cleaning) and retail sales at local farmers markets.
We could hire 3-4 casual people - but prefer the option to have one person that could be a double or triple threat to give flexibility and backup at the various positions.

We acknowledge that not everyone will have experience in every area - but we are willing to discuss your background, expertise, and desire to learn to see if we can find the best way to work together.
Experience that covers a couple different areas of responsibility preferred

Possible Duties

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring food safety and proper handling at all times
- Serve food and beverages to guests efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service and hospitality standards
- Operate POS systems such as Clover for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
- Assist with brewery operations, including Brewing, Packaging, and Cleaning operations
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure timely service and smooth workflow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and brewing equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner,



answer questions about menu items or beer selections, and foster a welcoming environment
- Retail sales at local farmers markets.

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is highly preferred
- Experience in Brewing - even as an all grain home brewer is beneficial
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover or similar platforms is advantageous
- Demonstrated knowledge of food safety procedures and proper food handling techniques
- Experience in bartending or serving roles that involve cash handling and customer interaction
- Strong time management skills to juggle multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cashiering, making change accurately, and managing transactions confidently

Pay: $16.75-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
