- Available Shift: Monday to Friday 3:00PM to 11:00PM (1500-2300)
- Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Job duties a Security Guard in Commercial/Retail Site:

- Provide exceptional customer service and professional assistance to clients, customers, contractors, and visitors.
- Monitor and operate CCTV surveillance systems to identify and respond to suspicious activity and security concerns.
- Conduct regular property patrols to deter theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, and other unwanted activities.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, fire alarms, and other emergencies, following established emergency procedures.
- Act as an on-site First Aid responder and provide assistance until qualified medical help arrives, when required.
- Complete daily documentation in the memo book,



including notes, occurrence details, and incident reports as required.
- Report and escalate security, safety, or operational concerns to the Security Supervisor and/or Operations Manager.
- Cooperate with store management, emergency services, and law enforcement when required.
- Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and conduct while representing the security company and client.
- Perform other security-related duties as assigned by the Security Supervisor or Operations Manager.

Requirements:

- Must hold Valid Ontario Security Guard License issued by the Private Securities & Investigative Services Act
- Valid Emergency First Aid and CPR Level 'C' certificate
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including report writing.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills with an outgoing and friendly personality.
- Minimum of 1 year security guard experience.
- Secondary school education (or equivalent); Post-Secondary education is an asset.
- Security and Police Foundations Diploma is a plus.
- Emergency management skills, including fire safety, de-escalation, use of force, and medical response.
- Access to personal vehicle is considered an asset.
