NOTE:

- This is local to the Halifax & Mainland areas.
- This a NO Travel Card position or Relocation Allowance Benefit.
- Transportation to job sites is not provided.
- Formen Training & Experience is considered an asset.
- Non-Union & Inexperienced individuals will be subject to a probationary period.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures, swing stages, or mast climbing work platforms according to project specifications.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct site assessments to determine the appropriate scaffolding requirements.
- Load and unload scaffolding materials and equipment.




- Participate in on-the-job training and safety courses provided, where applicable.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No prior experience required; training will be provided by the Local Union.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that require heavy lifting, climbing, and working at heights.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols (on-the-job training to be provided)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Basic understanding of construction principles.
- Experience in manual labour or outdoor work.
- Reliable transportation to various job sites is considered an asset.
- Ability to complete Government Security Screening is considered an asset.
- Pre-Existing Government Security Screening is considered an asset.
- Formen Training & Experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to work at heights and / or confined spaces is a must.
