Manager – Internal Audit, Banking

This role requires relocation to Bermuda; relocation costs will be covered by the client.

We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Manager – Internal Audit, Banking to join their team in a senior-level position.

The successful candidate will bring strong banking and financial services experience, with the ability to lead reviews, assess risk and controls, and work confidently with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage internal audit and risk-based reviews across banking operations.
- Assess financial, operational, governance and control risks and recommend improvements.
- Develop review plans based on business activities, risk exposure and emerging issues.
- Review the effectiveness of internal controls, policies and risk management processes.
- Monitor findings and remediation plans, ensuring issues are addressed appropriately.
- Prepare detailed reports, analysis and recommendations for senior management.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders on risk, governance and business improvement initiatives.
- Lead,



mentor and develop team members while managing multiple reviews and projects.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
- A relevant skilled designation such as CA, CPA, CFA, FRM, ACIS, FCI or TEP from a recognised institution or professional body
- Minimum 7 years’ experience within banking, audit, risk or financial services, including senior-level experience.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, risk management, internal controls and corporate governance.
- Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills with experience working with senior stakeholders.

Pay: $193,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
