You'll manage product displays, assist with merchandise merchandising, and provide engaging product demonstrations. Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their visit.
- Assist customers in selecting equipment, apparel, and accessories.
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments efficiently.
- Maintain organized merchandise displays, restock items as needed, and ensure the pro shop is inviting and well-presented.
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products or services offered.
- Support inventory management by tracking stock levels, assisting with merchandising plans, and organizing stockroom areas.
- Skate sharpening (will train)





Skills

- Proven experience in retail sales or technical sales, especially within sporting goods or similar environments.
- Robust communication skills to clearly explain product features and answer customer questions.
- Demonstrated ability to perform product demos confidently
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory, merchandising displays, and POS operations smoothly.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, pricing calculations, and transaction accuracy.
- Exceptional customer service orientation with friendly phone etiquette and professional demeanor.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail merchandising best practices.

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
