We are currently seeking a General / Skilled Labourer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be hardworking, reliable, and proactive, with a strong understanding of residential construction and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, cleanliness, and organization on site.

Responsibilities

- Prepare, maintain, and clean job sites to a high professional standard
- Receive, load, unload, move, and organize building materials, equipment, and tools
- Assist carpenters, site supervisors, project managers, and trades as required
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Build and dismantle forms, panels, scaffolding, ramps, shoring, and barricades as required
- Install floor and surface protection and assist with Blueskin membrane installation
- Assist with demolition, removal, and disposal of construction materials and debris
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and professional job site, including regularly sweeping floors and ensuring work areas are kept clean and presentable throughout the day.
- Assist with site logistics and safely control access and traffic around active work zones when required




- Protect completed work, materials, finishes, and client property
- Follow direction from site supervision while taking initiative to identify and complete tasks that need attention
- Work safely and in accordance with company procedures and applicable Ontario workplace safety requirements

Qualifications

- Strong working knowledge of residential construction practices
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Ability to read basic measurements and construction drawings is an asset
- Solid work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, responsible, and dependable
- Excellent attendance
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
- Ability to take direction and constructive feedback professionally
- Solution-oriented approach with the ability to identify problems and find practical solutions
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Able to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
- Ability to lift, handle, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions

We are looking for someone who takes ownership, pays attention to detail, works efficiently, and takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate is dependable, motivated, willing to learn, and comfortable taking direction while showing initiative.
