Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Modular Space Planner with strong expertise in JDA/Blue Yonder software and the ability to create precise planograms and store layouts. This role focuses on optimizing retail space within produce departments, ensuring visually appealing, efficient, and sales-driven product placement. The ideal candidate combines technical planning skills with a strong eye for design and in-store execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and update planograms using JDA (Blue Yonder) space planning and floor planning software
- Design and draw accurate store layouts, fixtures, and product placements
- Optimize space allocation to maximize sales, improve product visibility, and enhance customer experience
- Work closely with merchandising, category management, and store operations teams
- Conduct in-store visits to validate planogram execution and ensure compliance
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to refine layouts and merchandising strategies
- Adapt layouts based on seasonal changes, promotions, and inventory flow
- Ensure all designs meet company standards, safety guidelines, and operational requirements
- The role will involve close collaboration with our retail customers, providing ongoing support to their teams while also incorporating their guidance and input into design development.

Qualifications

- 3–5 years of hands-on experience using JDA/Blue Yonder software in a retail environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field.




- Proven experience as a Space Planner or similar role in retail
- Strong drawing and layout design skills (manual and/or digital)
- Experience working with planograms, fixtures, and merchandising strategies
- Knowledge of produce merchandising is highly preferred
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into effective layouts
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Work Workplace

- Combination of office-based planning and on-site retail store work (being onsite at customer facilities(s) 5 days a week or On Demand)
- Regular visits to grocery/produce retail locations
- May require travel between store locations

Preferred (Nice to Have)

- Experience in grocery or fresh/produce retail environments
- Understanding of supply chain and inventory flow in perishable goods
