Duties

- Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner, taking their orders accurately and efficiently using the Micros POS (Point of Sale) system
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, ensuring accurate change and receipt issuance
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers quickly without compromising quality
- Upsell additional menu items or upgrades to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities




- Follow all food handling procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation or food service roles, with a strong understanding of the food industry standards
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS or similar cash register technology
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume hours
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating order totals accurately
- Experience with restaurant operations or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
