Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Shipper/Receiver for a temp-to-hire chance in Hamilton, ON within a busy manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on logistics and warehouse professional who is confident coordinating shipments, receiving materials, operating a forklift, and supporting smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.

The Shipper/Receiver will play an important role in keeping products, materials, paperwork, and freight moving accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate outgoing shipments with production, scheduling, vendors, and freight carriers.
- Arrange freight quotes, approvals, pick-ups,



and shipment documentation for collect and prepaid shipments.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy against packing slips, and ensure paperwork is stamped, dated, and processed correctly.
- Load and unload trucks safely using forklift equipment and proper material handling practices.
- Unpack, organize, and store incoming materials in the appropriate warehouse or yard locations.
- Assist with warehouse organization, inventory counts, material handling, and related shipping and receiving duties.

Compensation and Details:

- Pay rate: $25.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: 7:00am to 3:30pm.
- Location: Hamilton, ON.
