Position Details

- Job Types: Seasonal (Winter)
- Location: In-person (Newmarket, ON)
- Schedule: On-call 24/7 availability during active winter weather periods

Key Responsibilities

- Perform commercial snow clearing, salting, and ice management as assigned by the Operations Manager.
- Safely operate winter machinery, including front-end loaders, backhoes, tractors, an skid/track steers.
- Inspect, monitor, and report routine maintenance needs for all assigned equipment.
- Accurately track and log job hours, locations, site requirements, and operational details.




- Maintain a safe work environment while strictly adhering to company safety policies.
- Maintain prompt, transparent communication with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of experience operating a front-end loader or similar heavy equipment (required).
- Minimum 2 years of commercial snow removal experience (required).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to read site maps, navigate routes, and complete accurate job logs.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and self-motivation under demanding winter conditions.

Compensation

- Guaranteed Monthly Standby Pay: $400-550/week, paid monthly
- PLUS Competitive Hourly Pay: $30.00-40.00/hour on top of your standby pay

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newmarket, ON L3Y 4Z1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
