About the Company

We are a growing property management and construction organization responsible for the management, maintenance, and improvement of a portfolio of residential and commercial properties throughout the GTA.

We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and professional Electrician to join our team. This position will be responsible for electrical maintenance, repairs, installations, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance across our properties.

The successful candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and be comfortable working independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety.

Position Responsibilities

- Perform electrical installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting in residential and commercial properties.
- Diagnose electrical issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, outlets, switches, panels, lighting, and related equipment.
- Respond to electrical maintenance requests and property-related service calls.
- Perform preventative electrical maintenance to help reduce equipment failures and service interruptions.
- Inspect electrical systems and identify potential safety concerns or deficiencies.
- Complete electrical work in accordance with applicable electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications where required.
- Assist with renovations, capital projects, tenant improvements, and property upgrades.
- Coordinate with property managers, maintenance staff, contractors, and other trades as required.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used, and outstanding issues.
- Provide professional and courteous service to tenants, property managers, vendors,



and other stakeholders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and company property are properly maintained.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other electrical and maintenance-related duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Licensed electrician preferred.
- 2+ years of electrical experience in residential, commercial, or property maintenance environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.
- Ability to diagnose problems efficiently and determine appropriate solutions.
- Knowledge of applicable Ontario electrical codes and safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable transportation is an asset/required.
- Ability to travel between multiple properties throughout the GTA.
- Ability to safely lift equipment and materials and perform physical duties associated with the position.
- Must be comfortable working in occupied residential and commercial properties.

Pay: $20.62-$48.53 per hour
