Master Packaging Inc. is a leader in corrugated and folding carton packaging, with manufacturing facilities located in Dieppe, New Brunswick and Borden-Carleton, Prince Edward Island. We are currently seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and energetic individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Associate. This position is based at our head office in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role plays a key part in managing incoming payments, processing customer invoices, and resolving billing issues to help maintain healthy cash flow across the organization.

Responsibilities:

- Perform the full range of accounts receivable functions.
- Process customer invoices, cash receipts, and credit card payments.
- Reconcile bank deposits and receipts, and investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
- Follow up on outstanding customer payments through email and telephone communication.
- Support collection activities and assist in managing aging receivables.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting.
- Participate in the annual audit process.
- Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential files and records.
- Perform other office and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements and Skills:

- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an accounting or accounts receivable role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management abilities.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.




- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate initiative.
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems is preferred; familiarity with JD Edwards (JDE), Encore, or Radius would be considered an asset.
