World Gym Southland is looking for a reliable, motivated, and customer-focused Overnight Front Desk Associate to join our team.

This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming facility, and can provide excellent member service throughout the overnight hours.

Schedule

This is a consistent overnight position scheduled approximately 32 hours per week:

Monday – Thursday | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Applicants must be available to consistently work these overnight shifts.

What You'll Do

As an Overnight Front Desk Associate, you are responsible for helping ensure our members have a secure, clean, and positive experience throughout the night. Because overnight shifts require greater independence, we are looking for someone who is dependable, proactive, and comfortable handling responsibilities without constant supervision.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service and assist with general membership questions
- Monitor member access and follow club entry and guest policies
- Answer phones and assist with member inquiries
- Handle member concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary
- Assist members with club amenities and services
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and facility
- Complete regular walkthroughs of the gym and identify cleanliness, maintenance, or safety concerns
- Perform assigned overnight cleaning and facility-maintenance duties
- Complete required overnight logs, checklists, and shift responsibilities
- Ensure club policies and procedures are followed
- Assist with membership and Personal Training starter package inquiries and sales when opportunities arise
- Help create a welcoming, respectful, and motivating environment for every member

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will be:





- Reliable and punctual — consistent attendance is especially key for overnight coverage
- Comfortable working independently during overnight hours
- Professional, friendly, and confident communicating with members
- Able to remain calm and use good judgment when handling difficult situations
- Proactive and willing to complete tasks without needing constant direction
- Comfortable enforcing club policies respectfully and consistently
- Able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Physically capable of completing regular facility walkthroughs and light cleaning duties
- Interested in fitness and comfortable working in a gym environment

Preferred Experience

- 1+ year of customer service experience
- Previous front desk, hospitality, retail, recreation, security, or fitness-industry experience is an asset
- Sales experience is an asset, but not required
