Abbotsford-based family is presently seeking an experienced caregiver to care for their toddler . The position is expected to commence ASAP. Childcare will take place in the employer’s home.

Personal Skills: Reliability; Effective interpersonal skills; Team player; Excellent oral communication; Judgement and intuitiveness; and Flexibility.

Specific Skills: Maintain a protected and healthy environment in the ahome; prepare child for rest periods; tend to emotional well-being of child; supervise and care for child; prepare and serve nutritious meals; bathe, dress and feed child; instruct child in personal hygiene and social development; and organize, activities such as games and outings for child.

Additional Skills: Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties; assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents; as needed,



travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties; wash, iron and press clothing and household linens; and shop for food and household supplies.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience required.

Experience: Prior childcare or caregiver experience preferred.

Other Requirements: Criminal record check required.

Language: English

Hours: Full-Time

Wage: Higher of $14.50/hour or Prevailing Wage
