TLC Lung Diagnostics is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Pulmonary Function Laboratory and Sleep Services team.

Responsibilities:

- Perform pulmonary function testing, including spirometry, pre/post bronchodilator testing, DLCO, and methacholine challenge testing.
- Prepare, set up, and provide patient education for Home Sleep Apnea Testing (HSAT).
- Download and review HSAT recordings for technical quality and prepare studies for physician interpretation.
- Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot pulmonary function and sleep diagnostic equipment.
- Provide CPAP setup, education, mask fitting, troubleshooting, and patient support.
- Provide education regarding obstructive sleep apnea and sleep-disordered breathing.
- Complete accurate clinical documentation and follow established protocols and quality assurance standards.
- Communicate clinical or technical concerns to the appropriate physician or Medical Director.
- Provide professional, patient-centered care in a busy outpatient environment.

Qualifications:

- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in good standing in Alberta.




- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Pulmonary Function Testing experience required.
- Sleep Services experience required.
- Experience with HSAT and CPAP therapy is required.
- Solid communication, organization, and patient education skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Experience:

- Minimum 1-2 years experience in Pulmonary Function Testing and Sleep Services
- Experience with Methacholine Challenge Testing
- Experience with Arterial Blood Gases testing
- Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist or equivalent experience
- RPSGT or equivalent experience
- Experience with Ascent software preferred
- Experience with Accuro EMR preferred
- Experience with testing pediatric patients
- CRE preferred

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

- Registered Respiratory Therapist with CRTA and CSRT
- BCLS - HCP mandatory
- ACLS preferred

Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
