We are currently amidst a period of growth & succession planning so we are looking for a reliable, dedicated Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role works directly with our PRM Rob and will have you drawing on his 40 years of propeller overhaul and repair experience. As you expand your propeller knowledge and hone your hands on skills, he will step back from his daily maintenance role offering you the autonomy of a Maintenance Supervisor position. When you are comfortable with the hands on, your role will evolve to include customer contact for general propeller inquiries and troubleshooting, as well as managing maintenance scheduling for other employees and customers.

Role Description:
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician is involved in the repair, overhaul, modification, inspection, and testing of aircraft and propeller components.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Assembly and repair of aircraft components




Accurate completion of required paperwork with respect to the applicable aircraft components in accordance with Airworthiness Certification Authority and company manuals
Ensuring the company’s best interest is maintained in accordance with the maintenance policy manual, quality control procedures manual and company handbook
Maintenance scheduling
Customer contact for inquiries & troubleshooting
Other duties as requested

Qualifications:
Broad range of experience including completion of minor and major repairs and/or modifications
Prior experience with component overhaul or completion of a mechanical or aviation trade school program.
Receipt of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer / M License
Must have a willingness to aspire to achieve shop certifying approval and advancement to a supervisory and leadership role
Good understanding of technical data
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
Strong observational, decision-making and time management skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Solid computer skills using various maintenance programs and proficient in MS Office specifically Word and Excel
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Must be able to pass a criminal record check

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
