We are currently hiring for Journeyperson Carpenters/Supervisors, to complete housing renovations in a very remote community in Northern BC. This term position is based outside of Dease Lake, BC. working on older homes in the area. Accommodation's will be provided. Rotation schedule will be 3 weeks in and 1 week out. All workers must be very adaptable on possible work scope changes from day to day, friendly and respectful to home owners and client at all times.

Qualifications - Must be a permanent resident of Canada and reside in either BC or Alberta, due to travel time lines for rotational shift.

· Carpenter with journeyperson certification or verifiable equivalent

· Rounded construction knowledge, this work is all older home renovations

· Able to read blueprints





- Lead Carpenter experience

- Excellent verbal and written communication

- Proficient in Microsoft 365, Teams

- Computer - App knowledge - all daily logs and time will be entered in an app

· Class 5 drivers license with clean drivers abstract

Responsibilities

- Material take offs and ordering

- Daily Job Hazard Assessment

- Lead small team on daily work tasks, ensuring work is to high standards

- Ensuring worksite is clean and organized at all times

- Meet with subtrades on project if required

- Set up and manage tools

- Meet established timelines and milestones

- Communicating with customers and possibly homeowners

Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
