About the Client:

We're seeking a compassionate caregiver for a 96-year-old grandmother living independently in Mississauga. Despite her age and some dementia, she remains remarkably active and mobile, even navigating stairs on her own. She's looking for companionship and cognitive engagement to help her stay connected and mentally stimulated throughout the day. The primary challenge is that she speaks only Greek, so fluency in Greek is essential for meaningful interaction and care.

Responsibilities:

- Provide daily companionship and engaging conversation in Greek
- Supervise for safety while respecting her independence
- Keep her mentally engaged through activities, conversation, and redirection as needed
- Offer memory prompts and gentle guidance when required
- Monitor her well-being and communicate any concerns to the family
- Create a calm, positive environment that makes her feel comfortable

What We're Looking For:

The ideal caregiver is fluent in Greek and experienced with cognitive support and dementia care. We're seeking someone who is calm, patient, and brings positive energy to each visit. You should be reliable, take initiative when needed, and communicate clearly with the family. It's important that you respect her independence while providing the supervision she needs for safety.



The family values a caregiver who can make their grandmother feel comfortable and less lonely through genuine companionship.

Schedule:

We're looking for 3-4 visits per week, with each visit lasting 2-3 hours. The family is flexible on specific days and times but ideally would like daily or near-daily support. This is an ongoing position with the potential to start immediately or within the next week or two, depending on the right match.
