Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Staff Pharmacist to join a busy community pharmacy in Alberta. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking for a stable, long-term position with competitive compensation and strong pharmacy support.

The successful candidate will play an key role in providing quality patient care while supporting the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
Accurately review, verify, and dispense prescriptions
Provide comprehensive medication counselling and patient education
Conduct medication reviews and other clinical services
Assess prescriptions for appropriate therapy, interactions, allergies, and contraindications
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals when required
Support immunizations and other pharmacist-led clinical services
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Ensure compliance with provincial pharmacy regulations and professional standards




Assist with daily pharmacy operations and contribute to a positive patient experience
Qualifications
Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Alberta
Previous community pharmacy experience preferred
Strong clinical and prescription-checking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Patient-focused approach to pharmacy practice
Ability to work independently as well as part of a pharmacy team
Strong organizational and time-management skills
