Tree Service Labourer / Grounds Person

Lidster Tree Service is growing, and we are looking for a hardworking, dependable individual to join our production team as Tree Service Grounds Crew

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in hard work, and wants the opportunity to build a real career in the tree care industry.

Experience is an asset, but it is not required. We are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.

You will work alongside experienced tree care professionals on residential and commercial job sites throughout the area. This is a hands-on position where you will learn how a skilled tree service operates while developing valuable skills that can lead to higher-level positions within the company.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day work may include:

- Assisting with professional tree removals and pruning operations
- Operating ropes and supporting climbing and rigging operations
- Dragging and processing brush and wood
- Operating wood chippers and other tree care equipment
- Using chainsaws and power equipment as training and experience allow
- Preparing and maintaining safe, organized job sites
- Protecting customer properties, lawns, landscaping, and surrounding structures
- Performing thorough job-site cleanup
- Loading, unloading, and maintaining tools and equipment
- Supporting climbers, equipment operators, and crew leaders throughout the workday

A valid driver's licence and clean driving record are required.
