Adecco is currently hiring a Forklift Operator for a full-time opportunity in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment. This role is ideal for experienced forklift operators who thrive in high-volume operations, prioritize safety, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.

- Pay Rate: $25/hour

- Location: Ajax, ON

- Shift: Monday to Friday | 6:30 AM - 3 PM

Responsibilities:
Forklift Operations & Material Handling

- Safely operate dual and quad forklifts in a high-volume warehouse environment.

- Load, unload, move, and stage products efficiently and accurately.

- Transport materials throughout the facility while maintaining product quality.

Safety & Compliance

- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, food safety standards, and SQF procedures.

- Complete daily forklift inspections and equipment safety checks.

- Maintain compliance with quality and operational standards.

Warehouse Operations

- Support warehouse, production, and inventory movement activities.

- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure operational efficiency.

- Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 55 lbs.

Housekeeping & Continuous Improvement

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.





- Support 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Build positive working relationships across departments.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or production workplace.

- Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience.

- Valid forklift certification required.

- Experience operating dual or quad forklifts is strongly preferred.

- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory movement, and transport packaging.

- Understanding of food safety, SQF, or quality standards is an asset.

- Familiarity with 5S, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement principles is an asset.

- Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills.

- Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity.

- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment.

- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
