Job Posting: Security Guard, St Stephen and St Andrews, NB

Commissionaires NB&PEI; Division is looking to hire responsible team members for security guard roles in both St Stephen and St Andrews, New Brunswick.

Hours: 8-to-12-hour rotating shifts, 24/7, with day, evening, night and weekend availability, sometimes on short notice
Rate of Pay: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour

The Role: The Security Guard will fill vacant shifts where needed and will be responsible to enforce established rules and regulations to ensure the protection of people, property, and information. Assigned duties include a combination of static and roving patrols.

Requirements:

- Physical fitness to perform interior and exterior rounds (including stairs) in all types of environmental conditions - may also require standing and or sitting for extended periods of time
- Strong communication and dispute resolution skills
- A positive, proactive,



problem-solving approach to tasks
- Customer service experience
- Valid class 5 Driver’s License
- Clean Criminal Record Check

The successful candidate must be able to:

- Maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Demonstrate sound judgement in addressing conflict situations
- Able to obtain all necessary government Security Clearances

Designated Veteran Status is an asset but not a requirement.
