Westcan Sales is looking for an Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative to join our team in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Westcan Sales is an established manufacturers’ representative agency serving the plumbing, heating and building industries throughout Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario.

We’re looking for someone who wants more than just an inside sales position. Our goal is to find the right person, teach them our business from the ground up, and provide an opportunity to grow into an Outside Sales / Account Manager role in the future.

The Role

You’ll start by working closely with our inside and outside sales teams, learning our products, customers, manufacturers and how our business operates.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Providing excellent customer service to our wholesale, contractor and industry partners
- Responding to product, pricing and availability inquiries
- Preparing quotes and following up on opportunities
- Assisting our outside sales team and customers
- Learning our manufacturers, products and programs
- Helping coordinate orders, projects and customer requests
- Building relationships with customers by phone, email and in person
- Gradually taking on additional sales and account responsibilities as your knowledge grows

Where This Role Can Go

We see this position as a development opportunity toward Outside Sales / Account Management.

As you gain product knowledge, understand our customers and learn the territory, there will be an opportunity to become more involved in customer visits, product presentations, training,



account development and eventually managing your own customer relationships and territory.

Who We’re Looking For

You don't necessarily need years of industry experience. We're more interested in finding someone with the right attitude and personality.

You may be a great fit if you:

- Enjoy working with people and building relationships
- Have strong communication and customer service skills
- Are organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Are confident using computers, email and Microsoft Office
- Are willing to learn technical products
- Take initiative and follow through
- Enjoy being part of a small, hands-on team
- Have an interest in developing a career in sales

Experience in plumbing, HVAC, wholesale distribution, construction, building products or B2B sales would be an asset, but is not required.
