Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Fence Installer / General Labourer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is comfortable with the physical demands of construction work.

Experience in fencing or construction is an asset, but we are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.

This position will begin on a seasonal, part-time basis, with hours based on workload and scheduling needs. There is potential for increased hours and the position may grow into a more regular or full-time role as workload increases.

Responsibilities

- Assist with the installation of wood, chain link, vinyl, composite, aluminum, corrugated metal, and other fencing systems
- Assist with the fabrication and installation of custom gates
- Dig post holes, mix and pour concrete, and set posts to grade
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite




- Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects efficiently
- Follow company safety standards and installation procedures

Requirements

- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physically demanding work
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous fencing, construction, or landscaping experience is considered an asset but is not required

- Three-day weekends when scheduled for a full four-day week

Schedule

- Tuesday to Friday
- Daytime shifts
- Hours will vary based on project workload and scheduling needs
- Shifts may be up to 10 hours
- Additional hours and overtime opportunities may be available during peak periods

Experience

- Construction: 1 year preferred

Licence/Certification

- Driver's Licence required
