Part-Time French and English Teacher/GraderPosition Overview

Best Brains in Brampton Kennedy is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Part time French and English Teacher/Grader to work with students ages 4 to 14 and higher grades.

This role is ideal for an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT), French-language teacher, or experienced tutor looking for flexible, consistent afternoon/evening work in a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Teaching: Teach French and/or English using the provided Best Brains curriculum in a small-group setting of up to 5 students.
- Differentiated Instruction: Support students working at different grade levels and ability levels within the same group.
- Grading & Feedback: Review and grade student work and provide constructive feedback to support academic progress.
- Student Support: Maintain a positive, engaging classroom environment and help students build confidence in their language skills.
- Progress Monitoring: Track student performance and communicate relevant progress or concerns to the Center Director.
- Classroom Management: Keep students focused, engaged, and working productively throughout each session.

Required Qualifications

- Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT): Candidates currently certified and licensed by the Ontario College of Teachers are strongly encouraged to apply.
- French Proficiency:



Strong written and spoken French skills for candidates teaching French.
- English Proficiency: Strong written and spoken English skills.
- Experience: Teaching or tutoring experience with children and youth is preferred.
- Group Management: Ability to effectively work with small groups of students with varying learning needs.
- Student-Focused: Patient, organized, enthusiastic, and passionate about working with children.

Hours

6–12 hours per week, primarily weekdays between 4:30 PM and 7:30 PM.

This is a year-round part-time position offering consistent teaching hours.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
