Work location: On site
Salary: 42.00 hourly / 80 to 88 hours bi-weekly
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time, Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours, Overtime available

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work setting: Construction, various locations, renovation, historical restoration, commercial, residential
Level of expertise: Maintenance and repair
Tasks: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs. Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements. Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites. Instruct apprentices. Supervise other workers. Estimate costs and materials. Maintain,
repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
Supervision: 1 to 2 people, 3-4 people, 5-10 people
Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools
Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Willing to travel regularly. Valid driver's licence
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles
