Role Description The Field Service Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Barrie, ON, with the flexibility to perform some duties from home. In this role, the specialist installs, configures, and maintains E-Sentry’s AI video verification systems and related security equipment at customer sites. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing timely technical support to ensure system performance and reliability.

The specialist documents service activities, coordinates with internal teams to resolve complex problems,



and supports system upgrades and preventive maintenance. The role also involves interacting directly with customers to explain solutions, provide training on system use, and ensure a positive service experience.

Qualifications

- Solid field service skills, including on-site installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support for security, networking, or surveillance equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Experience with video surveillance, security systems, or related technology is an asset.
- Ability to work safely on client premises, including occasional travel within the region.
- Comfort with hybrid work arrangements, managing tasks both on-site in Barrie, ON and remotely.
- Relevant technical diploma, certification, or equivalent practical experience in electronics, IT, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
